Braggs Homestead, located in the Alabama Black Belt region, with more than 5200 acres over 100 varieties of trees. Alabama is home to 420 species of birds. The region is rich in history and is an outdoor paradise. Bragg Homestead is located in Braggs, Alabama. This area is called The Golden Triangle and is made up of Lowndes, Wilcox and Dallas counties. The homestead contains creeks and streams running through its harwood bottoms. Walk our more than eight miles of trails and experience for yourself the rich history of places where people like Desoto, Davy Crokett, Andrew Jackson and Creek Indian Chief Red Eagle once walked, while helping settle the area.
