Birding Field Trips
Birding for kids is a great way for children to learn about nature on a school field trip. Watching and observing birds of many different feathers is an educational outdoor wildlife activity. Birdwatching is a great way to study nature in the wild with the naked eye or with binoculars. Both kids and adults love to observe and identify birds for fun and to learn more about them. Birding is a lifelong hobby that has many educational rewards and is a tool for a teacher who takes their class on a birding field trip to Braggs Homestead.
The cost of a field trip is $25 per student. It includes the all-day field trip, lunch and all activities. Please note all activities are outdoors and “hands-on”. In case of rain or inclement weather, your trip’s date will be rescheduled.
Note: Ask about our “Birding For Kids” sponsorship program. This is a program where individuals and companies have given to help pay the cost for children who are unable to pay.
